2001 - April 17th, a first-summer male at Southwell.

2001 - April 12th, a first-summer female trapped and ringed in the Observatory garden.

1997 - May 25th, a singing male in the East Cliff quarries at Portland Bill.

1996 - October 7th-28th, an adult male of the eastern race, S. c. albistriata, at Portland Bill; it was trapped and ringed in the Observatory garden on 7th October.

1996 - April 11th, a first-summer male of the western race, S. c. cantillans, near the Bird Observatory .
1995 - April 24th, a male on the West Cliffs at Portland Bill.
1993 - May 24th, a male at Easton, considered to be of the eastern race, S. c. albistriata.
1993 - April 9th and 11th, a male at Southwell.
1989 - May 9th, a male in Top Fields at Portland Bill, considered to be of the western race, S. c. cantillans.
1989 - May 4th, a male at Southwell, considered to be of the eastern race, S. c. albistriata.
1989 - April 20th, a male in and around the Lower Admiralty compound at Portland Bill, considered to be of the eastern race, S. c. albistriata.
1987 - May 21st, a male of the western race, S. c. cantillans, trapped and ringed in the Observatory garden.
1987 - May 20th-29th, a male of the eastern race, S.c. albistriata, at Verne Common. This bird held territory and was seen carrying nesting material.
1981 - May 12th-13th, a male trapped and ringed in the Observatory garden.
1975 - April 15th to May 7th, a male of the western race, S. c. cantillans, at the Bird Observatory; trapped and ringed on April 16th.
