photos © Martin Cade Further specimens of Ancylosis cinnamomella are illustrated in, for example, Die Zunslerartigen Mitteleuropas (Slamka, 1997), Nordeuropas Pyralider (Palm, 1986) and A Guide to the Microlepidoptera of Europe (Parenti, 2000) where this rather variable species is described as occurring widely in mainland Europe.
