19th October	Four medium/large whales passed slowly east off the Bill early in the morning; unfortunately they were never closer than 3-4 miles offshore and a conclusive identification was not possible. Later in the morning 2 Harbour Porpoises passed west there.

1st October	A large turtle, reported to be a 6 foot long Loggerhead Turtle, was seen several times around one of Portland Harbour entrances today.
