24th August	In recent days, several specimens of Round-leaved Fluellen Kickxia spuria - a formerly common weed of arable cultivation that has not been seen on the island for some years - have been discovered on the strips of land that have been rented and ploughed by the Observatory to improve the habitat at the Bill. Immigrant moths in the Obs garden traps this morning: 76 Dark Sword Grass, 40 Silver Y, 20 Plutella xylostella, 7 *Udea ferrugalis, 7 White-point, 2 Nomophila noctuella, 1 Small Mottled Willow* and 1 *Evergestis extimalis; also a single Black Arches*.

22nd August	Immigrant moths in the Obs garden traps this morning: 13 Dark Sword Grass, 2 Silver Y, 7 White-point and 1 *Plutella xylostella; also single Hoary Footman* and Pediasia contaminella. Elsewhere on the island a single Delicate was trapped overnight at Cheyne Weare.
